The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The federal law brings the provisions of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in line with Federal Law No 255-FZ of July 14, 2022 On Monitoring the Activities of Persons Under Foreign Influence.
In particular, it establishes administrative liability for violating the procedure governing the activities of a foreign agent, clarifies certain provisions of the Code and the powers of judges to consider cases involving such administrative offenses, as well as the powers of officials entitled to draw up protocols for administrative offenses.
