The President signed Federal Law On Amendment to Article 63 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law is aimed at stopping criminal activity related to illegal migration and ensuring public safety.
To this effect, commission of crime by a person being an illegal alien on the territory of the Russian Federation is deemed a circumstance aggravating punishment.
