Vladimir Putin congratulated workers and veterans of Russia’s construction industry on Construction Workers’ Day.
The message reads, in part:
“Russia’s construction complex has always been staffed by highly-trained experts who genuinely love their work.
It is important for this generation of Russian construction workers to preserve and develop the wonderful labour traditions of their predecessors, making a significant contribution to resolving key nationwide challenges. New apartments and modern production sites are being built and social, transport and energy infrastructure facilities are being put into operation thanks to your professionalism, experience and creative energy. And, of course, construction workers have played a significant role in the extensive work to build housing for the flood victims in the Far East and prepare for the XXII Winter Olympics.”
