Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following the meeting on creating a network of up-to-date campuses at higher education facilities, held on February 1, 2024.
Instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation pertain, in particular, to the extension of the project to establish a network of modern higher education campuses, securing allocations from the federal budget to carry out this project, defining criteria for selecting campus projects to improve the quality of the higher education system, and foster student academic mobility. Additionally, the instructions include the creation of modern and secure campus infrastructure accessible to local residents and the integration of higher education campus projects into urban development master plans.
Instructions to the Government and regional executive bodies pertain to monitoring the construction of campuses, funding this construction and the efficiency of using land plots when creating the network of modern campuses.
