Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Lipetsk Region Governor Oleg Korolev to discuss the socioeconomic situation in the region, in particular, industrial development and the spring sowing campaign.
Mr Korolev also requested at the meeting that he be allowed to step down ahead of term in order to take part in an early gubernatorial election in Lipetsk Region in September this year.
