Vladimir Putin visited an exhibition dedicated to priority development areas on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, took part via videoconference in the ceremony to launch an agricultural complex in the Primorye Territory and gave orders to start the construction of two enterprises planning to use preferential mechanisms of priority development areas (PDAs).

The President launched the Rusagro agricultural complex in the Mikhailovsky PDA. The project includes a pig-breeding complex, elevators and a fodder production.

The second project is the construction of the Baimsky Mining and Processing Plant (GOK) in Chukotka, which will explore one of the world’s largest copper deposits.

Another project involves building an LNG handling terminal in Bechevinskaya Bay in the Kamchatka Territory.
