Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amendments to Article 2 of the Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Industrial Policy in the Russian Federation in Regard to the Regulation of Special Investment Contracts.
The Federal Law allows the special investment contract in the automotive industry, concluded with the participation of the Russian Federation, to be extended until December 31, 2033, if unilateral restrictive measures have been established by a foreign state, a state association and (or) union and (or) a state (interstate) institution of a foreign state or a state association and (or) union in relation to the Russian Federation or the investor and (or) other persons specified in such a special investment contract, that impede the implementation of an investment project in accordance with the corresponding special investment contract.
