While in Izhevsk, Vladimir Putin visited Aeroscan, the holding enterprise of the ZALA Aero Group, a company specialising in the unmanned aerial vehicle development and manufacturing.
The President examined production lines for components and glider assembly, the latest pieces of special equipment and unmanned vehicles as well as the company’s training centre. Aeroscan produces the Lancet loitering munitions and reconnaissance drones.
The President was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov and Deputy Defence Minister Alexei Krivoruchko. Aeroscan chief designer Alexander Zakharov provided explanations.
