The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law on Countering Legalisation (Laundering) of Criminal Proceeds and Financing of Terrorism, and Article 13 of the Federal Law On Audit Activities.
The Federal Law is aimed at bringing the laws of the Russian Federation that regulate audit activities in compliance with the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).
The introduced amendments will facilitate more effective oversight in the sphere of countering the legalisation (laundering) of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism.
