Vladimir Putin signed a Federal Law On Amending the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Article 151 of the Criminal Procedures Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law stipulates tougher criminal liability for terrorist and sabotage activity and for state treason. It will also streamline operations for countering these crimes, with consideration for new methods used by the criminals and their danger to society.
