Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions on the issues of cross-subsidisation of electricity prices (rates) in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Instructions to the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in accordance with the Energy Ministry and the Federal Antimonopoly Service concern, in part, developing and approving a long-term program for optimising local energy, providing for the replacement of existing diesel generation with cost-effective modern power generation facilities.
Appropriate instructions have been issued to the Energy Ministry, Federal Antimonopoly Service, Far East Development Ministry, Finance Ministry, and the Government of Russia.
