In Moscow Gymnasium No. 1519 Vladimir Putin attended an Olympic lesson conducted by 2012 London Olympics champion in gymnastics Aliya Mustafina and Olympic silver medallist in judo Alexander Mikhailin.
On Knowledge Day, a number of schools across Russia invited Olympic champions to conduct lessons. In particular, Vladimir Putin and students from Gymnasium No. 1519 had a videoconference with participants of Olympic lessons at Belgorod and Khimki schools.
In addition, Vladimir Putin attended a history lesson and stopped by the gym, where Olympic champion gymnast Anastasia Grishina joined the PE teacher in conducting a class.
Later, the President held a meeting at the gymnasium on the modernisation of general secondary education in the regions.
