Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants in the finals of the Bolshaya Peremena national contest for 8th-10th graders which is taking place as part of the Keep Moving National Forum.
The message reads, in part:
“Today, the legendary Artek warmly welcomes high school students from different regions of the country who fully demonstrated their talents and abilities at all stages of the competition and rightfully became Bolshaya Peremena’s leaders. Most importantly, they have learned to be team players and take creative approaches to complex and unusual challenges, while also making lifelong friends.
It is gratifying to know that this competition was held under the common theme “I am Proud of Russia”. During this year you learned about the outstanding achievements of our compatriots and their contributions to international science and culture. I am confident that this knowledge and pride in the achievements of our ancestors will be of great use to you in your future profession and in life. I would like to sincerely thank your parents, educators, and mentors, in a word, everyone who shares your interests, helps you move forward, manage setbacks and achieve your goals.”
