Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov took part in the award ceremony for the winners of the 15thMy Country – My Russia national contest of original youth educational projects.
The contest is aimed at supporting youth initiatives to promote territorial development and civic engagement. This year, over 7,000 projects from various Russian regions were submitted to the contest.
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov presented gold medals to the winners of the 15thMy Country – My Russia national contest. The award ceremony was also attended by Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science and Chair of the Russian Znaniye (Knowledge) Society Lyubov Dukhanina, Head of Rospatent (Federal Service for Intellectual Property) Grigory Ivliyev, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Alexander Bugayev, and representatives of government bodies, universities and the student community.
In addition, Mr Magomedov read out the President’s message of greetings to the contest participants, which reads in part: “Your contest, which helps get young people involved in addressing the socio-economic challenges of the Russian regions, unites many like-minded people around serious and timely ideas and initiatives; it allows young participants to realise their potential, and use their talents and abilities to change life for the better and transform their cities and villages.”
