Vladimir Putin approved the updated management personnel pool under the patronage of the President of Russia.
The updated presidential talent pool consists of 135 people who have sufficient management experience and the necessary professional and personal qualities.
In 2016, a number of individuals in this pool have been promoted, some of them to positions in the federal government. In particular, at the federal level, members of the presidential pool joined the Federation Council and the new State Duma, and were appointed federal deputy ministers. At the regional level, they became deputy senior officials of their regions and heads of regional administrative centres.
