Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following verification of compliance with legislation and Presidential decisions aimed at the development of the electronics industry and basic components range.
In order to implement the national projects, the Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to approve an inter-sectoral strategy for the development of the electronics industry, as well as an action plan for its implementation, including:
current and target parameters of the Russian radio and microelectronics products market, including imports and exports, as well as consumption by state customers, other organisations and manufacturers in this field;
preferential use of software and hardware systems based on Russian-made microelectronics and system software when working out requirements (standards) for digital platforms and end-to-end technologies;
approval of a list of key microelectronics components and targets for increasing the output of civilian products based on such components to focus state support on this task;
identification of priority fields for cooperation with foreign manufacturers in the interests of the creation and phased development of local manufacturing of microelectronics components, equipment and materials, as well as underlying technologies that are open to all market participants;
a package of measures to stimulate the development of microelectronics design centres, the production and sale of electronic products;
and the development of a training system focused on accomplishing important tasks in the electronics industry.
