The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On the Procedure for Making Foreign Investments in Economic Companies that Have Strategic Significance for the Defence and Security of Russia.
The Federal Law provides for the need to coordinate with the authorised body transactions for the establishment by a foreign investor of control over a business entity that has a license and/or other permit to carry out activities that are of strategic importance for ensuring the defence of the country and the security of the state, and also establishes the procedure for obtaining such licenses and/or other permits by a business entity controlled by a foreign investor.
