Vladimir Putin instructed the Government and the Finance Ministry to work with their Cypriot partners on drafting conditions for restructuring the Russian loan previously extended to Cyprus.
Taking into account the Euro Group’s decisions, Mr Putin said he considers it possible to support the President of Cyprus’ and the European Commission’s efforts to overcome the crisis in Cyprus’ economy and financial and banking system.
