Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions following a meeting with Government members on March 26, 2014.
Instructions to the Government concern disaster relief measures following last year’s large-scale flooding in Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorye and Khabarovsk territories, Amur and Magadan regions and the Jewish Autonomous Area, creation of an industrial production special economic zone in Vladivostok, and providing funding for the construction of the necessary production infrastructure there.
The Government and executive authorities in the regions concerned have been instructed to conduct further inspections of flood-damaged housing in order to decide on housing provision for people affected by the floods and having no other home to live in. Also, following the additional inspections and resulting decisions, repair of damaged housing and construction of new housing for flood victims is to be completed by September 30, 2014.
