Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Protection of Competition and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
Amendments to the Federal Law are aimed at liberalising and improving Russia’s anti-monopoly legislation.
Also, a new chapter is being added to the Federal Law On Protection of Competition, which contemplates a detailed description of cases of unacceptable practices of unethical competition.
The Federal Law also specifies the authority of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, adding in particular the authority to revise the resolutions of territorial anti-monopoly bodies.
