Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions issued following a meeting on economic issues held on January 17, 2023.
The Government of the Russian Federation is instructed to identify, in cooperation with regional executive bodies, a list of priority facilities, projects and programmes that can be additionally commissioned and implemented, at a faster pace, in 2023 or the first quarter of 2024, and ensure their advance co-financing using the funds from the federal budget.
The instructions for the Government also concern legislative amendments, specifically on granting Russian constituent entities loans from the federal budget in the current fiscal year to provide advance financing of state property construction, reconstruction, major and minor renovation projects in the Russian constituent entities.
The Government is also instructed to address the finance issues of the 2024 Russian Railways investment programme and the Dzhubga–Sochi motorway construction project.
