The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 16 of the Federal Law On Organised Trading and to Federal Law On Countering the Illegal Use of Insider Information and Market Manipulation, and On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
Under the Federal Law, foreign lending institutions and foreign legal entities carrying out activities similar to those of a broker are allowed to take part in organised trading in foreign currencies and in organised trading where contracts, which are derivative instruments, are signed, their underlying assets being a foreign currency and/or interests rates.
Also, the Federal Law provides for modifying the procedure for disclosing insider information lists.
