Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Accepting Amendments to the Articles of the Agreement of the International Monetary Fund as Approved by the Resolutions No. 62–2 of April 28, 2008, and No. 63–3 of May 5, 2008, by the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund.
The changes aim to redistribute quotas and votes of IMF member states, including the increase in basic votes, and also involve provisions enabling the Executive Directors to appoint Alternate Director.
