Dmitry Medvedev signed Executive Order On Celebrating the State Hermitage’s 250th anniversary.
In light of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the State Hermitage in 2014, the Government of Russia has been instructed to form a steering committee responsible for organising and holding the anniversary celebrations and for elaborating a plan for its main events.
Regional and local authorities are also encouraged to participate in preparing for and holding celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the State Hermitage founding.
