Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the staff of Moscow's Romen Music and Drama Gypsy Theatre on the 80th anniversary of its establishment.
The message reads, in part:
“Founded in 1931, the theatre seamlessly combines the values of classical theatre school and unique Romani music traditions.
Today, the theatre remains true to its creators’ ideas, promoting and preserving Russia’s cultural diversity and producing shows that enjoy immense popularity both in Russia and around the world.”
