Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Weapons.
The Federal Law regulates legal relations with regard to the circulation of non-combat weapons used for cultural and educational purposes, including weapons of cultural value, antique weapons, their copies and replicas, and decommissioned weapons.
In particular, the Federal Law gives the legal definition of weapons of cultural value and their subtypes, clarifies powers for making expert evaluations of such weapons, sets the rules for bringing them into and out of the Russian Federation, and the rules for foreign citizens temporarily exhibiting weapons of cultural value or copies and replicas of antique weapons they have brought into the Russian Federation. The Law also regulates other issues related to the circulation of weapons used for cultural and educational purposes.
