Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“This unique international project has enjoyed a happy creative destiny and is deservedly renowned as an event that has strong traditions, is exciting to watch, and has a particularly inspiring atmosphere. The festival brings together the best military orchestras, ceremonial units and folk groups from many countries. It is not just an event on Moscow’s cultural calendar; over the years the festival has been attracting more and more participants, it gives vivid and lasting impressions and the joy of meeting with old true friends, and offers a rich and diverse, genuinely festive programme.
It is important that the festival’s organisers always pay attention to educational and charity work and help to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, civic spirit and respect for our nation’s history.”
