Vladimir Putin signed Executive order On Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Ivan Turgenev’s Birth.
Considering the importance of Ivan Turgenev’s work for Russian and world culture, Mr Putin approved the Russian Government’s proposal to hold celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the great Russian writer’s birth in 2018.
The President issued the relevant instructions to the Government.
