A meeting of the expert council working group under the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens' Constitutional Rights was held.
The meeting addressed issues of maintaining and strengthening the position of the Russian language, trends in its development and problems of linguistic security.
Participants in the work included the heads of leading Russian higher education institutions, Russian linguistics scholars and leading attorneys in the field of constitutional law.
