Vladimir Putin singed Executive Order On Marking the 100th Birth Anniversary of Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
Considering the significance of Solzhenitsyn’s work for the Russian culture and in connection with his 100th birth anniversary in 2018, Vladimir Putin has resolved to accept the Government’s proposal to mark Solzhenitsyn’s 100th birth anniversary in 2018.
The Government has been issued corresponding instructions.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn (1918 – 2008) was a writer, public and political figure, and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature (1970).
