The President will take part in the unveiling ceremony of a monument to the Heroes of World War I at Moscow’s Poklonnaya Gora. The ceremony is one of the key events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I.
The monument was a project initiated by Russian Military Historical Society and is the work of sculptors A. Kovalchuk, P. Lyubimov and V. Yusupov, and architects M. Korsi and S. Shlenkina.
