Vladimir Putin congratulated musician Vladimir Spivakov, artistic director and chief conductor of the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra and the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, on his 70th birthday.
The President said, in particular, in his message of congratulations:
“As a virtuoso violinist, a top-class conductor, and an attentive mentor of young talent, you have earned a deserved place among the ranks of the outstanding masters of the arts in the world today. Your unique talent as a performer, rich inner culture and instinctive feel for music make each of your performances a real celebration of creative talent and source of powerful positive energy.
I thank you for your many years of hard work and faithful service to the arts and to our society and country. I thank you for your contribution to developing our national cultural heritage.”
