Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings to participants and guests of the 17th Open Russian Festival of Animated Film, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Russian animation.
The message reads, in part:
“Following tradition, your creative festival offers Russian animators a good opportunity to demonstrate their new works and exchange professional experience. The International Congress on the Animation Industry will be held within its framework, allowing participants the chance to discuss global trends in creating, distributing, and producing films.”
The Festival is taking place between February 29 and March 4, 2012 in Suzdal.
