“Over the past years, the Mikhailovskoye Museum Reserve has become one of the most significant research and cultural centres in Russia devoted to the memory of Alexander Pushkin and his works. The museum staff’s meticulous efforts have successfully recreated the great poet’s environment. The highly diverse exposition allows the visitors to become better acquainted with everyday life at a nobility estate and get a sense of Russian literature’s Golden Age.

It is gratifying that the Mikhailovskoye staff devotes special attention to stimulating educational projects for children and young people. The museum does a great deal to teach the young generation about Pushkin’s work and Russian history and culture.”
