Vladimir Putin congratulated the Moscow Kremlin Guard Service Presidential Orchestra of the Federal Guard Service on its 75th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“You can be proud of your orchestra’s glorious history, the names of the talented composers, conductors and performers who are your predecessors, and their dedication to the highest ideals of music and art.
You continue these wonderful traditions with honour. The orchestra takes part in important official and public events in the country and represents Russia with honour at big international festivals and events. You are also active in performing concerts and educating the public, getting people familiar with Russian and foreign classical and folk works, and you always win the audiences’ hearts with your performance skills and rich and diverse repertoire.”
