Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants in the First Open Youth European Delphic Games and the XIII Junior Delphic Games.
The message reads, in part:
“The Delphic Games have become widely popular over these past years and been enriched with new ideas and initiatives to become a real celebration of knowledge and talent. This year’s competition among young Delphic Games participants coincides with Year of Culture in Russia. Young people from around Russia and the world will test their strength in a broad range of creative events, show their achievements and successes, and obtain real opportunities for future professional growth. Of course, you will also have the chance to see the sights and memorials of the Hero City of Volgograd, experience its people’s warmth and hospitality, and make new friends.”
The Delphic Games are taking place on May 2–8, 2014 in Volgograd.
