“It is traditional to talk of one’s successes and achievements during such major anniversaries, and your famous orchestra truly has a great deal to be proud of. Its history includes a brilliant assortment of outstanding conductors, composers and performers, who selflessly served the arts through their work, talent and high level of professional mastery, bringing the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra to the greatest stages in the world.

 I am sincerely glad that today, the Orchestra’s life is filled with memorable events and accomplishments: you carefully preserve and develop the creative heritage of your predecessors, tour extensively and successfully, acquainting Russian and foreign audiences with the great works of classical music.”
