The President said, in particular, in his message:

“Your representative forum always stands out for its substantial and serious agenda, deep-reaching discussions and spirit of mutual understanding and constructive creativity. The meetings’ participants always set their prime attention on relevant and important issues of great significance for Russia’s present and future. These include, above all, preserving our rich cultural and spiritual heritage, developing our education system, and strengthening enduring moral and family values.

Of course, your priorities include educating the young generation in a spirit of patriotism, civic mindedness, and respect for our country’s history and for the heroic deeds and hardworking traditions of our forebears. These are without question areas in which we should develop constructive cooperation between the state authorities, the Russian Orthodox Church, and public organisations in order to come up with new and much needed ideas and initiatives.”
