Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Establishing the National History Fund.
The fund is being established to promote Russian history at home and abroad, preserve the historical heritage and traditions of Russia’s peoples, and support historical education programmes.
Speaker of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin will head the fund’s Board.
