Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the XXIV Alye Parusa International Children's Film Festival.
The message reads, in part:
”Uniting prominent public figures and foremost personalities in art and culture, your project has for many years served to introduce the younger generations with Russia’s best films, nurturing lofty moral and patriotic feelings and respect for the history of Russia in your attendees. Naturally, the festival has also broadened their spiritual and intellectual potential, talents and creativity.
This year, the event marks two important dates: the 80th anniversary of Soyuzmultfilm and 45 years since the release of the film Officers. In line with a good tradition, every young attendee has an opportunity to speak with famous actors and directors in an informal, amicable atmosphere, take part in workshops, or try their hand at being a creative professional.
I am certain that the XXIV Alye Parusa International Children's Film Festival will stay in the memory of the children at the Artek summer camp as a spectacular, extraordinary event, and give them an opportunity to meet new interesting people and make friends.“
