Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Establishing the National Public-State Organisation Russian Cultural Foundation.
The President ordered the creation of the public-state organisation Russian Cultural Foundation, in cooperation with public associations and individuals, with the purpose of consolidating the efforts of the state and civil society to create an environment that encourages people to realise their creative potential, to preserve cultural values and revive cultural traditions, to popularise Russian culture, and to expand the cultural potential of the Russian regions.
The Ministry of Culture shall be the founder of the Russian Cultural Foundation of behalf of the Russian Federation.
The Executive Order defines the organisational structure of the Russian Cultural Foundation and the involvement of the Ministry of Culture in identifying its key activities and achieving its objectives.
The instructions issued to the Government concern property issues related to the Russian Cultural Foundation, its location, and the procedure for issuing subsidies to it.
