The message reads, in part:
“You are an eminent figure in Russian ballet in your own right, a true master and creator. Over the course of your long and spectacular career you have created genuine masterpieces of choreography, adding outstanding and unforgettable pages to the history of the Bolshoi Theatre, as well as to Russian and world culture.”
