Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to participants of the Golden Phoenix Russian film festival of actors and directors.
The message reads, in part:
“It is a pleasure to see that the festival’s participants remain true to Russia’s wonderful traditions of filmmaking and are submitting for award consideration both exciting and talented films, which are capable of meeting the demands of even the most sophisticated viewers. The festival provides an excellent opportunity to watch new feature and documentary films and to meet with one’s favourite actors and directors.”
