The President signed Executive Order On Designating the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Culture Arkhangelskoye Estate Museum as a Most Valuable Cultural Heritage Site of the Peoples of the Russian Federation.
The President instructed the Government to provide legal, financial and material conditions for the museum’s activities in line with its new status.
The first written mentions of the Arkhangelskoye Estate Museum in the Moscow Region date back to Ivan the Terrible’s times. In the late 18th-early 19th centuries, an architectural and park complex was created there.
