The President signed Executive Order On Holding the Year of Theatre in Russia.
The President resolved to hold the Year of Theatre in the Russian Federation in 2019 in order to further develop the art of theatre.
The Government has been instructed to establish an organising committee for the Year of Theatre and to develop and approve a plan of the main events by June 1, 2018.
Executive bodies in the Russian regions are recommended to hold the necessary events as part of the Year of Theatre.
