Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants and guests of the Zolotoy Vityaz (Golden Knight) International Forum that will take place in Sevastopol from May 22 to 31 this year.
The message reads, in part:
“During its history, your forum has proved its popularity, built a devoted following and taken its rightful place in the calendar of the most important public and cultural events. Bringing together masters of theatre and cinema with the best representatives of literature, music and the fine arts, the Golden Knight performs a noble and genuinely selfless mission – it helps preserve noble spiritual and moral values, historical memory and traditions of patriotism and civic consciousness. Naturally, it facilitates the development of international humanitarian ties and the consolidation of neighbourly, friendly relations and mutual understanding between people.
I am sure that the forum’s creative and vibrant atmosphere and its interesting and intensive programme will leave its participants and guests with vivid, unforgettable impressions.”
