Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the organisers, participants and guests of the Spasskaya Tower international military music festival.
The message reads, in part:
“Once again the walls of the ancient Moscow Kremlin and Moscow concert venues will host performances by military bands, choirs, dancers and folk groups from various countries. Applause from delighted audiences will abound. Over these years, the Festival has established itself as one of the most impressive and remarkable events on the cultural calendar, garnering truly global recognition with its captivating images, unique mix of genres, inspiring energy and spectacular musicianship.
I am confident that this year’s Festival will also earn “hurrahs” and make a significant contribution to popularising the best samples of music and dance. Guests will be able to soak in the festive atmosphere and learn about the cultures and traditions of various nations.”
