Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 2019 Spasskaya Tower international military music festival.
The message reads, in part:
“This impressive, vibrant and vivid music festival is a true landmark of public life in our capital, and one of the most spectacular and desired projects in international humanitarian cooperation.
Each year Spasskaya Tower brings together on the country’s main square military musicians, gifted performers, choirs, dancing and folk bands from Russia and many foreign countries. It gives spectators kind and sincere emotions and the joy of encountering real art.
I am confident the current festival will be a success, attracting a wide audience of people who appreciate classical and modern music and is interested in military history, traditions of military service and ceremonies.”
