Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the anniversary White Nights of St Petersburg International Music Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“For the past three decades, your creative forum has been delighting admirers of variety art by arranging encounters with popular Russian and foreign entertainers and young talented performers, by presenting a packed and interesting programme and outstanding participants. It has invariably become a sensational and much-awaited event in the cultural life of the Northern Capital and the entire country.
I am confident that the current anniversary concerts will prove successful, that they will carry on and enrich the established festival traditions, and that people will remember them for their warm and inspired atmosphere and the romantic ambiance of the white nights.”
