The Coordinating Committee of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives has approved a list of winning projects in the second grant contest to implement projects in the field of culture, arts and the creative industries for 2022.
The application process took place between April 20 and June 7. During this period, 6,814 applications were received from non-profit organisations, individual entrepreneurs, representatives of the business sector and municipal organisations.
The grants, worth a total of almost 2.88 billion rubles, were provided to 905 creative teams from 80 Russian regions. The winners plan to attract an additional 2.37 billion rubles as their own contribution. Among those who were awarded the grants, 699 gained the funding for the first time, while 206 teams had been successful more than once.

Since 2021, the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives has held six competitions; three main ones and three specialised contests. Over 76,000 teams from 85 regions have registered in the foundation’s database. Almost 4,000 projects have been selected following all events.
